We look forward to welcoming you to one of our Christmas gathering this year:
15 December @ 6pm – CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT
24 December @ 4pm – FAMILY CHRISTMAS EVE
24 December @ 11.30pm – CHRISTMAS EVE COMMUNION
25 December @ 10.30am – CHRISTMAS DAY ALL AGE COMMUNION
Why not join with us, from the 1st to the 24th December, pondering just one chapter of Luke each day. A whole Gospel especially for Advent.
Then on the 25th, you can access the Church of England’s free 12 Days of Christmas app – #FollowThe Star The App follows reflections, from Christmas Day’s “Star”, though “Wonder, Night, Royal, Beauty, Bright…”
A great way to continue the wonder that Christmas brings.
(As we pass through the season, we will also ensure we place any of our recorded talks at the bottom of this page)
The major theme for this year is taken from a Bible Society spoken word Christmas themed performance by Dai Woolridge below. It coincides with our desire at the end of January to help everyone to explore the bigger story of God’s relationship with humanity, from the beginning to the end, from the book of Genesis at the start of the Bible to Revelation at the end, over an 8 week video course called “The Bible Course”. We used the above video at our Carols by Candlelight Evening on Sunday the 15th December. The talk that followed the above video, if you want to listen to it, is below.and the slides used in the talk are here: Carols_Talk_Slides_2019
